Although TMCI is considered a denomination by the IRS, it does not operate like any other denomination. One leader of a major denomination said about TMCI, "This is the closest thing to the new testament church I have seen".
We are a ministry that allows men and women to do what God has called them to do. We welcome believers in Jesus from many different denominations including Baptists, United Methodists, Russian Orthodox, Anglican, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Presbyterian, and Charismatic, to name some.
Some may wonder, “How can this be?”
The answer is, "Because we have a common glue in our Lord Jesus Christ".
We are a kingdom ministry: we do not care who gets the credit as long as the Kingdom of God is increased.

Sr. Bishop Arthur Werts
Bishop Arthur Werts has been involved with TMCI since the summer of 1990. He has served as a TMCI Bishop, and as a Board Member.
Dr. Werts is the Pastor of Second Baptist Church in Ruther Glen, Virginia from January 2002 to the present. He loves God’s people; and under his leadership, the church has grown spiritually and numerically.
He is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. His family moved to New Jersey where he attended public school. His belief in education has led him to earn two Master Degrees and holds an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Lighthouse Christian Seminary.
Pastor Werts is married to the gracious and anointed Minster, Saundra Werts. God has blessed them with two wonderful children, Candace and Kenneth Sr.. Kenneth is married to Shannon, and Candace is married to Marcus Bohanon Sr.. Arthur and Saundra have been extremely blessed with five grandchildren, Essence, Marcus, Kenneth Jr, Kiley, and Kenzie.
Pastor Werts retired from the Exempt Organizations Division of the IRS after 33 years of government service. He also holds the rank of Colonel (Retired), United States Air Force.
