The TMCI family is a group of passionate people whose goal is evangelism focused on fulfilling the Great Commission. Our mission is to “Get people into Heaven and Heaven into people.” We have ministries on every continent except Antarctica and over 50 missionaries serving in foreign countries.

One of the unique things about TMCI is that we not only have churches, but we also have many para-church ministries. Our TMCI family consists of food ministries, prison ministries, biker ministries, chaplains, Christian counselors, thrift stores, and Christian schools to name just a few. It is important to note that even though you are connected with TMCI, you have complete independence to run your ministry as God is leading you.

The last paragraph under our statement of faith reads: “The church is a trans-denominational fellowship, and it is understood that all the ministers may not agree upon all points of doctrine. However, all ministers will endeavor to keep the unity of the faith, believing in the essentials as enumerated in the Articles of Faith. In essentials, we must have unity, in nonessentials liberty, and in all things love.”

This letter is to address the last statement… “In essentials, we must have unity, in nonessentials liberty, and in all things love.”

I have been a member of the TMCI family since 1990, serving for over 30 years. I accepted the position of Presiding Senior Bishop by the leading of God and continue to serve with much prayer and the leading of God. As such, if we are to “Get Heaven into People and People into Heaven”, then we must make sure that we have the heart of God and always govern our words and deeds with love. When you don’t understand differences or something that’s happening in this ministry, be willing to have a conversation and be willing to approach it with a heart seeking to understand. We will operate in love and exemplify the example of the Godly character that we are preaching, teaching, and evangelizing about.
TMCI has not changed. Our mission has not changed. We continue to assist men and women in fulfilling God’s call by providing credentials and a spiritual covering. We welcome believers in Jesus from many denominations; our membership includes Baptist, United Methodist, Anglican, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Presbyterian, as well as others. We are a Kingdom Ministry. We are an International Ministry. So, let us commit to intentionally function in agape love as we build the kingdom together and complete our individual and collective God-given assignment.

All things in decency, order, and love,
Bishop Werts

Dear TMCI Family,

The Annual Conference theme 2023 was “Family Fitly Joined Together for Kingdom Building” (Ephesians 4:16).
Fitly joined means that every member is exactly designed for his own place and function and perfectly joined with every other member to make a complete living organism. Despite differences in culture, language, nationality, race, color, and temperament, we are one Body in Christ Jesus.
